האם גוגל עומדת בסיסמתה ''אל תעשה רע''? 3780

בכתבה שהתפרסמה ביום ו' ב-TheMarker, טוען גיא רולניק כי חברת גוגל וענקיות הטכנולוגיה האחרות – פייסבוק, אמזון ואפל – צברו כוח כלכלי ופוליטי חסר תקדים ומסוכן.

נציבות התחרות של האיחוד האירופי קנסה לאחרונה את גוגל ב-‏2.7 מיליארד דולר בגין הפרה של חוקי התחרות באיחוד, אך לדברי רולניק, סכום זה הוא שולי עבור גוגל. רולניק גם מציין כי רשות הסחר האמריקאית המליצה לפני חמש שנים להגיש כתבי אישום נגד עבירות דומות של גוגל בארצות־הברית, אולם הממשל החליט שלא לנקוט בפעולה נגד החברה, בזכות פעילות נמרצת של לוביסטים מטעם גוגל בוושינגטון.

גוגל מממנת מחקרים רבים באוניברסיטאות, ולכן, לדברי רולניק, "מעטים הם אנשי האקדמיה והמחקר המוכנים להתעמת עמה". גם המידע האדיר שנצבר בגוגל אודות מיליארדי המשתמשים בשירותיה הוא "מטמון שיכול להעלות או להרוס את רוב הפוליטיקאים ברוב המדינות בעולם". לכן, אם ענקיות הטכנולוגיה לא ירוסנו בקרוב, אזי "חלק מהתסריטים האפשריים לעתיד של כולנו עלולים להיראות כמו סרט מדע בדיוני גרוע במיוחד."

כן, נראה לי שיש הסכמה די רחבה, כולל דתיים רבים, שמונופול הכשרות של הרבנות הראשית הוא גרוע. הויכוח שאולי יש לי עם רון, אפשר לומר שהוא על עולם דמיוני שבו מקובל על כל שומרי הכשרות שמונופול כשרות מטעם המדינה הוא יעיל כמנגנון בר-סמכא, ויתרה מזו, מקובל שהוא יעיל יותר מכל אלטרנטיבה; האם אז זה טוב או רע שהוא יתקיים מטעם המדינה. רון אומר, נדמה לי, שזה רע. אני עוד לא בטוח, כל מיני טיעונים סותרים רצים לי בראש.

האם אתה רואה ברפורמה המתגבשת כפתרון לבעיתית המונופליזציה של הרבנות בעניין הכשרות או רק פלסטר זמני ?

זאת עמדת השר לעניני דתות בעניין רפורמת הכשרות,שהיא לדעתי עמדה ציונית קלאסית שממשיכה לשלוט באורתודקסיה במקום להפרד ממנה.
