"fter the current revision of the asylum law conscientious objection to military service will no longer be a valid reason to receive political asylum in Switzerland. Especially persons who originate from Sudan, Myanmar or, as in B.D.’s case, from Eritrea cannot be deported after a negative decision by the Swiss authorities since their life would be at danger in their native country. But not being able to return home means a life in Switzerland with an F permit."
