the vast majority of arabs living today in the land of Israel (both in pre 1967 Israel, and the liberated territories) are offsprings to recent immigrants, brought here by the Ottoman empire starting at the latter part of the 19th century, or lured here by the new opportunities brought here by the booming economy (relative to Arab countries) resulting from Jewish activity. in a single decade (1993-2003), some 150,000 arabs immigrated and recieved full citizenship to Israel from neighbouring countries, seeking for a better life.
