If you ask me, the reservists are fighting the wrong battle. They want less reserve time - but Israel _needs_ them more, because of the current security situation. Will they abandon the nation for a Calculus exam?

The real issue is the lack of support from the public. Indeed, the responsible reservists, who answer their nation's call, are made to felt suckers by their peers. This is intolerable, and it is what they should be fighting against, they should be fighting for legitimacy.
