Simply: it is Europe. Other mentality.

When your car broke, you should not expect someone to stop and help you push it. Even in the snow when you have children with you.

One word: bullshit.

My car broke down several times in Europe and the US, and always people were more than happy to help, sometimes far beyond what I expected.

Contrary to popular opinion, people in other countries really are much nicer than people in Israel.

And enough with this stupid, self congratulating myth. We are not rude but warm and helping. W're just rude.
