The whole newspaper is about what we can do to make life nicer and better (and "natural").
There is a site in Israel called Adama (http://www.adama.net) with a barter site.

A friend of mine from IBM Haifa Research Lab (where I worked till recently) is talking about making an internal site where people (workers) help each other out.
This is not new: see the Jewish Religious "helper funds" eg. Yad Sarah, Hessed shel Emet etc.

And for us software developers there is http://www.experts-exchange.com and all the newsgroups, where we share our most privilidged knowledge.

I have recently opened a company (pashute.com) where people pay for the environment so that they can help themselves and others do what they want and neeed (in software development, but it could be in any field).

I started this venture after opening an elementary school where kids get this oportunity, and it is great fun for them (and a grand experience for us - their parents).
