This is the same Adv. Zvi Hefetz, Vladimir Gusinsky's Israel representative, who personally acquired 1% of Maariv Holdings for NIS 6.4 million back in 2000. The acquisition followed acquisitions by Gusinsky totaling NIS 20 million in June-July 2000.

Since Mr Hefetz managed to get a job as Israeli embassdor to Britain without knowing English and without any significant previous diplomatic experience and despite lying in his interviews and CV about his background it seems the Gusinsky group is heavily connected to the Israeli foreign affairs and government.
