I would like to add, for the benefit of the folks reading between the lines; I wonder what meanings the people involved in these discussions read into the term "a positive child". I would not be surprised if ethnicity and social class, as well as stereotypical demeanor, play some part here. Who's to say who's positive and who's negative? Are we talking atom particles?
